The Obstacle

There I was, dancing the salsa of happiness. Then, with no warning at all, the music stopped and the sound of fear thundered instead. Unexpectedly, when I was 31, a retinal disease took my sight completely. Then years later, my youngest son was killed and the man responsible was set free.

The Answer

 “Por favor, Lord,”  you might have asked. During sleepless nights, we lie on the pillow of fear, asking, why in the world are we stuck with junk we never wanted? But the answer is sweet. And the answer is simple: “In this world you will have trouble,” Jesus said. “But take heart! I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).

The Promise

He overcame? Sí, He did. And that’s why our feet tap to the rhythm of His promise. Because of His power, we’ll dance to victory. With a new beat, I’ll ignite in you that passion to overcome. No matter what you face or how ugly life has been, a new melody is playing for you.

 The Triumph

Gracias, Lord! It’s a new triumphant beginning. You will find that joy will now play. It will because your pain cannot linger when your passion is ignited and His power is at work. So, I’m glad you stopped by. It’s always easier when we salsa through life together.
